About Us Employment Opportunities

In the early 1980s, Walter Messick and Lawrence Hayman founded a small transportation brokerage company called H&M Transport with the belief that following two guiding principles — hard work and customer satisfaction — would result in a winning combination. More than 25 years later, the vision of Walt and Lawrence still thrives at H&M Bay.

H&M Bay is the premier freight mover in the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) frozen and refrigerated commodities market. We also offer truckload service for both food and non-food product. Distribution centers strategically located along both the East and West Coasts, combined with an owner/operator network of over 10,000 independent carriers, allows H&M Bay to provide industry-leading delivery capabilities nationwide.

The H&M Bay focus on customer satisfaction is even stronger today than it was 25 years ago. We offer a host of web-based services as well as a computerized dispatch and tracking system that enables our customers to access real-time reports on their order and delivery status.

We look to the future as an exciting time to help our customers grow. Join us and we’ll grow together!
